Mother Love Yoga aims to provide a private or small group yoga experience either in-person in my home setting, or online with use of video calling wherever you are.
Mandy is a newly-qualified Yoga Alliance accredited 200h yoga instructor, and has undergone additional training in Pregnancy and Post-natal Yoga to reflect her other professional experience working with Women's Health.
If you are in my local area, you are most welcome to practice in person with me in my homely setting, however perhaps the convenience of video calling from your own location suits you best.
We can all use a bit of Motherly attention at times, you can expect bespoke programmes of physical movement, breath practice, meditation and relaxation to ease you through modern life in our busy world.
I have been fortunate to train as a yoga teacher with Charlotte Esme Awakening Grace Yoga one-to-one over the last year, following the 200h curriculum of Ambassador Yoga Registered Yoga School, practising Hatha yoga.
I only took up my personal yoga practice under her instruction in 2017, after experiencing a period of intense stress and exhaustion trying to juggle home, family and my maximum-full-time job as a senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist within the NHS.
Sooner or later, something had to give, and yoga was one of the habits and hobbies which helped me unwind and reconsider what is most important to me, slowing down to appreciate family time, home comforts and learning to find some fun I had lost somewhere.
I still love my day job in the hospital, and look forward to establishing Mother Love Yoga as my own small business to pass on the benefits of yoga to as many people as I can. Everyone is welcome, especially beginners, skeptics, frazzled professionals and new or expectant parents.
